I found Cathie Reid to be more than helpful throughout the whole sale process, starting from the initial meeting to discuss what would be the best way to market my property, then on to the open days in which she showed a number of clients through the house over several weekends, and at the end of each session she made a point of reporting all feedback including what concerns the clients may or may not have had.
Then on to the sale itself, I was well informed throughout the whole process, given the appropriate paperwork to make the whole transition very smooth. Cathie also went as far as to do extensive research to find myself a new property to move into.
I have no hesitation in saying the Cathie in most instances did more than what would have been deemed reasonable to make the sale of my property a pleasant experience.

I recently purchased a property in Mooloolaba that was listed by Henzells’s – the sale was managed by Laura Vaisnys.
I wish to let you know that Laura was fantastic throughout the whole, and at times, lengthy process. Her attitude was always friendly, courteous and positive. She was prompt in attending to queries or requests for information and was always willing to take calls and discuss any issue. Her ‘can do’ attitude, without a hint of pressure, was very refreshing.
I have brought and sold properties on a number of occasions over the years and would have to say that Laura has been the easiest and most enjoyable agent to have dealt with. I have no doubt she is a great asset to your team and should I be in a position to buy or sell in the future, I would immediately contact Laura.
When Geoff Ryan returned to reignite his career in real estate, the timing was impeccable as we had a property to sell and Geoff was an obvious choice given his years of experience and credentials.
I was pleased to find that all of the drive, determination, professionalism and energy that made Geoff so successful in real estate in the past were quickly revived by Geoff when he returned to real estate after an absence of several years. I was not so much impressed by the fact that Geoff sold our property at a reasonable price, but the fact that Geoff was so conscientious of his attention to detail, his strong communication and superior negotiation skills, and the fact that he was more than happy to go beyond the call of duty – even to the point of capturing cows that escaped from the property on more than one occasion!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Geoff to anyone looking for a true professional to sell their property.
Re: Tender Sale
We just write to thank you for the successful completion of the sale of our property before the close of the tender date. On the 12th of April, after asking for marketing proposals from a number of different local agents, we chose your office to plan our sales program. We have to say that the fact the ‘local identity’, Geoff Ryan was becoming associated with your business just at that time was an influencing factor in our choice.
And we were not disappointed. We had met Geoff on a number of occasions over about ten years, during his time working for Juniper and the Reed Group. He always came across as very professional and seemed to have a good ‘negotiating manner’.
Given that we were leaving for our home in Europe just six weeks after the starting date, with you’re, and Geoff’s advice, we decided to start the advertising campaign on 1 May for just four weeks, thus leaving us a narrow window in the event of a sale to finalise the Contract before our departure.
Thanks to Geoff’s very professional approach to the handling of the four ‘open inspection days’ (plus one evening ‘drinks and canapés by invitation experience’, capably handled with the voluntary help of Geoff’s wife Dianna) - everything went very smoothly.
We were particularly impressed by the way Geoff took in all the details of the ‘extras’ and ‘features and benefits’ of our particular apartment. Geoff took the time to really understand why we loved our apartment, and thus why we thought it would be a great buy for any new owner. He even learn’t how to use our complex entertainment systems.
He was also willing to schedule the time needed to do two open for inspections each Saturday, giving buyers more options, as well as staying on with the prospective buyers for more than the scheduled one hour, giving people time to absorb the ‘qualities’ of the property.
The end result of this ‘professionalism’ is that we were presented with an unconditional contract, which we accepted, and now we only have the challenge (which we will arise to) of moving within two weeks of signing. Also, Geoff introduced us to the buyers and enabled the start of further ‘friendly negotiations’ to have the buyer purchase some of our furniture, which would no longer suit the design of our new (smaller) property. He then quietly backed off and left us to reach agreement by ourselves, which suited the buyer and us. This is a good result for all, including the buyers who are delighted with their purchase.
As a result, we would have no hesitation in recommending the office of Henzells of Mooloolaba to any prospective sellers in our area, including those owners of luxury or expensive apartments. Other agents may lay claim to the luxury end of the market as belonging to them, but you have shown that this is not necessarily the case.
Having purchased a property through Laura Vaisnys from Henzells Real Estate Mooloolaba three years ago Laura was our natural choice of agent to also handle our recent sale.
Laura “ticked all the boxes” that we felt we needed in an agent which were: Pro active and high level of activity.
Laura held open homes on a regular basis and worked hard to get as many people through the property as possible where other agents seem to wait for enquiries to come to them.
High level of Communication
Laura always presented us with good advice and kept us very well informed about the marketing plans, advertising, open homes and phoned us regularly to let us know the status of potential buyers.
Relationship with On-Site Managers
Our property is a unit in block of 30 with on site management and at all times Laura worked very closely with the site managers, gained their respect, confidence and total support.
Laura closed a sale and presented us with a contract and we would thoroughly recommend her as the most professional agent we have dealt with and would certainly engage her again in any future real estate transaction in Mooloolaba.
Just want to say BIG THANK YOU to you and owners for arranging the fan for bedroom. It is very much appreciated. Quite simply put - Karen and her team make owning commercial property on the Sunshine Coast a viable investment.
Without a doubt the single biggest improvement in my investment has been the management switch to Karen. She has been delivering great results when my previous managers were only delivering excuses.
